ABOUT
Maker Hardware
Maker Hardware was born from the belief that consumer electronics should be beautiful, repairable, and transparent. We reject the industry’s standard of planned obsolescence and sealed black boxes in favor of products that invite understanding, customization, and longevity. Each of our products begins its life in our Brooklyn workshop (my living room), where skilled technicians manufacture the product using additive manufacturing. Cutting-edge manufacturing techniques allow us to create a product that looks as good as it performs. Our first product, the TTD.3000 Boombox, represents our commitment to bucking industry trends and putting control back in the hands of the user.
Our People

Patrick Cronin
Yello, I am the owner, and currently sole employee, of Maker Hardware. My formal education focused on computer science, electrical engineering, and physics. Outside of intellectual pursuits, I enjoy comedy, traveling, cycling, cooking, and conversation. The business was birthed out of my passion for building. As an electromechanical technician for a company making GPS devices, I found immense satisfaction in building, assembling, and ensuring the quality of the products our customers received. I plan to transfer this skill set to the creation of artisanal consumer electronics. If you’d like to learn more about me please visit my personal website.
Business Documents
I have written about our plans for the future and values. These documents should be viewed as blog posts, serving both to inform our customers who Maker Hardware is and as grounds upon which my ideas surrounding the company can be flushed out.
